LOS ANGELES, CA – August 4th, 2008 – here!, America's premium gay and lesbian television network is pleased to announce the brand new series "Everything You Wanted To Know About Gay Porn Stars *but were afraid to ask." The series will make its debut on the network in the winter and will consist of six 30-minute episodes and a one-hour special.

The series, directed by John Roecker ("Live Freaky! Die Freaky!"), will take us on a behind-the-scenes look at the lives of some of gay adult cinema's hottest talents. Among the current and former porn stars featured on the series will be Johnny Hazzard, Brad Benton, Nick Capra, Jason Hawke, Nick Piston and Jason Ridge. The series is also Executive Produced by Chris Panizzon (Shelter) and features music by Tim Armstrong and Rancid.

"'In Everything You Wanted To Know About Gay Porn Stars *but were afraid to ask,' I interviewed sixteen men that perform in gay porn and asked them what makes them tick. This is their forum and their voice. When I spoke to these men, I wanted to know what their parents thought, how they got into the industry and what their ultimate goals were. I found them incredibly bright, sensitive and inspiring," says Roecker.

Topics covered in these revealing interviews include the impact of drugs on the industry, the dangers behind unprotected sex, depression, and the stigmas and drawbacks one must cope with when starring in the gay porn industry. Despite these very serious topics, the show manages to show us the lighter sides of these hunky entertainers, some of whom have very interesting and uplifting stories to tell.
