LOS ANGELES – March 21, 2006 - here! America's first gay television network will start production next week on "Shock to the System," the second installment of their here! Original Series starring Chad Allen (Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman). Morgan Fairchild (Falcon Crest) has been signed to this production. The cast also includes Michael Woods and Sebastian Spence. The network is producing this exciting series of films based on popular books written by Richard Stevenson. The first installment, "Third Man Out," debuted on here! in September 2005. "Shock to the System" will be directed by Ron Oliver (Queer As Folk, Third Man Out) and was written by Ron McGee. It will air on here! in Fall 2006.
"Shock to the System" centers on a gay detective Donald Strachey (Chad Allen) who goes undercover inside an ex-gay therapy group when his newest client – the poster boy for this organization - winds up dead.
