NEW YORK – May 15, 2006 - Maria Dwyer has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Distribution Sales and Marketing for here!, America's first gay television network. Dwyer, named Vice President of Affiliate Sales and Marketing last year, has played an integral role in here! achieving availability to 50 million homes, closing deals with a variety of high profile cable systems and other outlets across the nation. Her ongoing work in promoting subscription video on-demand (SVOD) carriage is resulting in more and more affiliates offering here! on that consumer friendly basis. Dwyer will continue to report directly to the network's EVP and General Manager, Karen Flischel.

Prior to her work at here!, Dwyer was a 15-year veteran of MTV Networks, most recently as Vice President of Affiliate Marketing for TV Land and TNN. In that role, she created marketing and promotion strategies that drove distribution and generated millions of dollars in revenue as these channels grew into major networks. As Director of Affiliate Marketing for TV Land & Nick at Nite, she oversaw launch incentives, marketing partnerships and trade ad campaigns that helped TV Land rank as Nielsen's fastest growing cable network in 2000. During her tenure at MTV, she negotiated distribution agreements for MTV Networks' strongest brands across the Northeast including VH-1, Comedy Central and TV Land, and was named #1 National Affiliate Salesperson in 1997.
