Kim Schraner has performed extensively for television with credits that include: three seasons of Spynet, A Dennis The Menace Christmas, American Psycho II and Twice In A Lifetime. In addition, Schraner appeared in: Psi Factor, Jonovision, The Newsroom, Ready Or Not and Due South. Schraner's feature film credits include Summer of Monkeys and National Lampoon's Senior Trip.
When Jessica left Paradise Falls three years ago she had a satchel full of beauty products and a purse full of stolen jewelry. Her first stop was a high-end jewelry exchange, where she was able to hock her "gains" and walk away with fifty-eight thousand dollars. Unfortunately, fifty-eight grand doesn't last as long as it used to. And it certainly doesn't buy happiness.
She returned to Toronto, where she rented a furnished condo, closed the drapes and went to sleep for two years. (At least that's how she describes it.) Days would go by and she couldn't get out of bed. It was too painful to be awake. It was too much of an effort to lift her head, let alone walk. She considered suicide…but that would require too much energy.
She let her appearance suffer. Her health declined. All she did, day after day was relive her mistakes. What could she have done differently? How could she have let Nick leave her in the way that he did? And most of all…why should he have happiness when her life has been so miserable?
