Wesley Morgan, "Ethan Banning"
Wesley Morgan is new to the cast of Paradise Falls this season. He appeared in the feature The Rocker and has done some commercial work and student theatre. Morgan has taken numerous private and group acting lessons as he begins his television and film career. In addition to having done some modelling, Morgan is proficient in a variety of sports, such as hockey, lacrosse, wrestling, boxing, weight training and running.
The first eight years of Ethan's life were fairly stable. He lived with the people he thought were his parents in the suburbs of Toronto. Two weeks after his eighth birthday, his father died, then six years later his mother passed. Fourteen was too young for a solo apartment, so Ethan moved in with his older sister, Cate.
One day, after Ethan was picked up by the police on suspicion of robbery, Cate decided that she had had enough. Ethan and she had to move. If they didn't, her brother would end up in some detention hall.
At first, Ethan refused to go, but Cate told him that unless he joined her and finished high school, she would not release the money their mother left for him in her will. (It's not a lot, but it'll get him set up.) Reluctantly, Ethan was coerced into coming to Paradise Falls for one year, until he turns eighteen…then he's out.
