cast & crew: paradise falls

Mark Humphrey, "Wes Coleman"
Mark Humphrey is a veteran star of the large and small screen. Among his television appearances are roles in Passions, JAG, Alias, Cold Squad, Millennium, Earth: Final Conflict, and E.N.G. Film appearances include: South of the Moon, Cruel But Necessary, Air Rage, Poison, Iron Eagle II and City of Angels.

Wes is an attractive man, tall, fit, with approachable good looks; a smattering of grey hair and a body that can still run a marathon. He has written for the "Paradise Falls Chronicle" for over fifteen years. He writes mostly about local politics, civic issues and human-interest stories. Not surprisingly, fifteen years of covering flower fairs and the occasional Braga photo-op has left him quite tired of the same ol' rut.

He loves his wife; they've been married for 12 years. They have a nice home on the outskirts of town and two cars, and they've been thinking of buying a strip of land to build a cottage. He enjoys the sex they have once every other week, usually on Saturday mornings when their eight-year-old daughter has soccer practice.

And yet…he is bored. However, there is one person in Paradise Falls that intrigues him…Bea Sutton. He's heard the rumours. He knows she is a transsexual, who's running for Mayor. Normally, that could be a joke line, but when he meets her he finds her attractive, self-deprecating and attentive. Different! An exotic curiosity. A challenge. If anyone understands "change," she does.
