Kerry Lai Fatt, "Julie Cordry"
Kerry Lai Fatt is becoming a familiar face for today's television and film audiences. New to Paradise Falls this season, she has also been seen in: Get Smart, The Dresden Files, Falcon Beach, Kevin Hill, Metropia, Mutant X and Relic Hunters. She has also served as host for All X-treme and Inner City Soul.
Cate's ex-girlfriend, Julie is the anti-Trish. While Trish is dark and sarcastic; Julie is bright and supportive. While Trish has always had to work hard for everything she's ever got, Julie seems to have things handed to her effortlessly. And while Trish is manipulative…Julie is – well – manipulative too. She just does it in a sunny fashion. (Think Reese Witherspoon.)
Julie and Cate used to be a couple in Toronto. It lasted about a year. They broke up less than two months ago. They never lived together. Julie had an apartment downtown and Cate used to live further north. This was always a bone of contention between them. Cate's police station was north of the city so it was hard for her to stay overnight downtown, and Julie hated having to drag herself out to the outskirts of town. They eventually split when Cate pushed too hard for some kind of commitment.
Julie is good at knowing what she wants in the short term. She is used to getting what she wants and right now, she wants Cate.
