In episode 1 of "The Afterlife," Medium Suzane Northrop connects her studio audience to loved ones who have passed away.

A mother reaches out to her son's ex-boyfriend to pass along a message of hope that her family might grow closer together, even though she's passed. Many grandmothers made their way into the studio, validating the marriage of one couple, and reassuring another woman that her mother's grief is felt...even in the afterlife. Another woman finds comfort when Suzane explains that her brother felt no pain when he passed, and a grandfather connects with his beloved wife through their grandson.

Suzane and co-host David Millbern close the show by validating the connections made in the studio and by reassuring viewers that nothing can separate us from love...not even death.
